EU compliance checklist for non-EU companies — five things to do before the week is out.
1. GDPR Article 27 — If you process data of EU residents and have no EU establishment, you need a written designation of an EU representative on file.
2. GPSR Article 16 — If you place any physical product on the EU market, a responsible person with an EU address must be named on the product or its packaging.
3. AI Act — If you deploy a high-risk or transparency-tier AI system in the EU, an authorised representative must be designated before the system is placed on the market.
4. Cyber Resilience Act Article 14 — If you manufacture products with digital elements sold in the EU, a contact point for vulnerability reporting is required.
5. NIS2 — If your company falls under an essential or important entity category and serves EU markets, check whether a NIS2 representative is needed in the member states where you operate.
All five designations can go to one provider. REP27 signs within 24 hours and issues a verifiable certificate for each.
