REP 27 is the brand under which three companies act as legal representative and responsible person for businesses established outside the European Union and the United Kingdom. The official spelling is REP27, written as one word, but many people type it as REP 27 or Rep 27. They are the same brand, the same companies and the same website: rep27.com.
A company in the United States, India or Brazil that sells to people in Europe often has to name someone established here. REP 27 takes that role under a written mandate, signs it, and gives the client a certificate that authorities, marketplaces and customers can verify online in seconds.
Most REP 27 clients are companies that sell into Europe without being established there: software and SaaS providers with European users, online shops and marketplace sellers on Amazon, Etsy, eBay or Shopify, mobile app developers, manufacturers of electronics, toys, clothing and cosmetics, and, more recently, providers of AI models and cloud services.

The name comes from Article 27 of the General Data Protection Regulation. That article requires controllers and processors without an establishment in the Union, but covered by the GDPR, to designate a representative in the EU. REP stands for representative; 27 for the article that made the role necessary.
The first REP 27 service was exactly that representative. Since then the brand has grown to cover the equivalent roles in other EU and UK rules, but the name has stayed, because the idea is the same: a real, established contact point where the law asks for one.

REP 27 does not give legal advice, does not represent clients in court and does not replace a data protection officer. It does not fix websites or product code, and it does not register clients in national registers that require the producer's own registration, such as packaging, battery or electrical waste schemes.
This is deliberate. A representative has to be a neutral, reliable contact point. Keeping the service focused on the roles the regulations describe is what allows REP 27 to sign quickly, at clear prices, and to say plainly when a client needs something else.
Prices are public and annual. The GDPR representative starts at 290 euros a year for the EU and 390 euros for the EU and the UK together. The product responsible person starts at 190 euros a year with unlimited products. The cosmetics responsible person starts at 690 euros a year for up to five products. The CRA vulnerability channel starts at 390 euros and the AI Act services at 290 euros.
Every price includes the signed designation, the certificate with its verification code and the text to use in a privacy notice or on a label. Renewals are announced 30, 7 and 1 day before the date, so nothing expires by surprise.
Every designation carries the name of the signing company, the date, the service and a verification code with a QR code. Entering the code on the verification page shows the company name, the status and the validity dates. If any of these do not match, the document is not valid.
Invoices for REP 27 services are issued by Europe Services SE. If someone asks you to pay REP 27 through a different company or an unusual channel, contact us before paying.
